Weatherwood is a 200-bed Nursing and Rehabilitation Center conveniently located in Weatherly, PA, on the western edge of the Pocono Mountains. We are sufficiently staffed by highly qualified, professional Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses, as well as Certified Nursing Assistants. Our staff is committed to providing the best care possible to meet each individual's highest level of functioning. The highly creative Activities Department plans and contributes entertainment and stimulating activities to enhance the resident's level of socialization. Our residents enjoy dining in our spacious dining room with meals prepared by our Dietary Department. Our delicious meals and snacks meet the specialized and individualized needs of each resident. Weatherwood offers traditional as well as advanced clinical therapy programs. A staff of fully trained and licensed physical, occupational, and speech therapists provides the highest quality treatment. All residents are screened to identify any needs for evaluation or treatment. Services integrate Nursing Care, Therapy, Activities, Dietary, and other departments to enhance the function of each resident. The goal of therapy is to maximize function and independence. Individual programs are developed through careful evaluation and planning.
